With the introduction of the Fiberloc® felt line in the 1970’s, Felters led the ”Green Movement” by using recycled materials in an environmentally friendly dry manufacturing process for making felt.

Felters continues to be a leader in recycling and reclaiming products. A significant portion of our products are made from recycled or reclaimed materials. Most of our waste is reprocessed or recycled to minimize waste and preserve the environment.

CONSTRUCTION Applications: Our products are used in LEEDS certified offices and in many recyclable applications.

AUTOMOTIVE Applications: The majority of Felters’ automotive components meet 2014 European standards for recyclability.
